The micro-array docking station allows for easy and safe loading and unloading of silicon wafers from Oxford Atomic micro-array mounts. This is helpful when inserting and rotating samples from their docking station, and minimises the risk of damage to silicon wafers, particularly when they contain precious samples. For non-standard height samples, a small grub screw can be used to fine-tune the height of the mount in the dock.
The docking station works best when loading with vacuum tweezers, however flat tweezers (not pointed) are recommended for moving wafers between benchtop and the docking station.
Micro array mount (Cu component) shown in images is for comparison purposes only, and is available separately.
