This sample holder is for clamping of flat, rigid sheets up to ~2.4x12x12 mm (depth*width*breadth). The sheets can be held in use in both atom probe and SEM/FIB configurations, and is mounted inside a standard puck. Rear screws and a push-plate clamp the sample from underneath, locking the sample into position whilst minimising the obscured surface area.

This is ideal for so-called 'satellite dish' or 'keyhole' plasma-FIB liftouts, where high-area access is required, and is suited for cryogenic FIB liftout.
