This station is for use in fine electropolishing, allowing operators to manually sharpen needles from wire or 'stick' cross-sectioned samples for use in APT. The station consists of an optical breadboard for adjustment of the mounting position, as well as X-Y-Z micrometer positioners, to align the sample to the counter electrode. A single counter-electrode wire is included in kit.
